This is Noelia, from Spain. We are very pleased to have met her and successfully placed Noelia in a beautiful Nursing Home in South County Dublin. Noelia lived in Ireland once before, when she worked at a B&B and also as an aupair in Westport, in Western Ireland. She is happy to be back on the Emerald Isle! We asked her a few questions to see how she is liking her first month here in Dublin:
NI: What’s your favourite thing about living in Ireland?
Noelia: It’s such a different experience. Everything is new! The culture, even the language, everything! It’s such a great experience.
NI: What has been the most challenging thing about Ireland?
Noelia: (laughs) The weather! Actually it’s not so bad here in Dublin. It was bad when I lived in Westport, with the wind and the rain, but actually Dublin is ok for weather.
NI: Would you recommend this experience to your friends?
Noelia: Of course! I say leave your home, live in another country, grow up. Find yourself!
NI: What do you miss about Spain?
Noelia: Right now, nothing. (laughs again) The first days are hard, you miss everything because everything is new and difficult, but soon you feel like you are just at home.
NI: Do you like the nursing home where you are working right now?
Noelia: Oh yes! It’s small, and everyone knows everyone else. The staff is so nice and helpful.
